At the age of 7 I gained a brother, John, and we moved to Clonsilla (Dublin). I went through the trauma of changing schools and survived. Lived through teenage years with ginger hair and boys jackets.
Anyway making a long, long story short, i went to secondary school, french exchange, and on to college. I went to NUI Maynooth in 2005, studying Geography, English and Anthropology. I had too much fun here and when i went into the SU bar and the barman just handed me my usual drink i decided enough was enough and dropped out. From here i went into Ballyfermot College of Further Education to do a portfolio in Graphic Design. After falling out with the year head i left and got a job in Ulster Bank, birra cash was good for once.
When I thought all hope was lost and i was doomed to work in a bank for life i got a letter of acceptance to Photography in DIT. Going here and leaving the bank was the best decision of my life and I have never looked back since. I have a good job working for O2, and great friends and brilliant boyfriend.
So now you have read my story, you know a wee bit about me. In my next intstallment you'll learn some more, and see my photography too. Don't be afraid to let me know what you really think.
Ciara.
